It was an honor to be part of the project at the Cloquet Forestry Center, specifically in the historic Camp 8 section. Our team was brought in to prepare the area for a prescribed burn, which involved brushing the forest understory and clearing a perimeter around the base of these massive trees to shield them from the fire. This beautiful forest is a true hidden gem and definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in the Cloquet area. As someone who values forest health and management, we appreciated seeing this magnificent place experience restoration firsthand.
