We work with private landowners, government offices, and other businesses on a variety of project goals. We specialize in FireWise treatments, Fire Mitigation and Understory Fuels Reduction, as this has been the huge concern for landowners and on public lands throughout the northland. The effects of Spruce Budworm have impacted many Balsam stands throughout our region, leaving large amounts of hazardous fuels in its wake. It was a pleasure to be a part of this project at the Cloquet Forestry Center, in the historic Camp 8 section of the forest. We were hired to help prep for the prescribed burning of the site, which included brushing the understory of forest and clearing a perimeter around the base of these massive trees to protect them from the fire. This beautiful forest is a true hidden gem and a must-see if you are in the Cloquet area.
